Old Waverly Golf Club captures the essence of the Scottish Highlands within the graceful setting of the Old South. Old Waverly has earned a reputation as one of Americas greatest golf courses, as well as one of the most callenging. All of these factors contributed to Old Waverlys being chosen to host the 1999 U.S. Womens Open Championship.
The most outstanding feature of Old Waverly Golf Club is her superior 18-hole course. Designers Jerry Pate and Bob Cupp took special care to embrace the natural beauty of the surrounding countryside. The courses 7088 yards are a fair test to golfers of all levels. Each fairway, with its diverse direction and length, creates a different challenge, and the Champion Bermuda Grass greens are meticulously maintained.
